Help the world find and travel to Japan

We are looking for bilingual individuals with a passion for travel and a strong desire to introduce Japan to foreign tourists.

The role involves:

  • Finding companies in the travel industry who want more foreign tourists, and developing marketing programs for them
  • Diagnosing specific challenges by smaller and regional companies, such as language skills and services line-up, and creating solutions for those companies so that they can be more effective in selling to foreign tourists
  • More than just selling ads, this position offers you the chance to create original ideas that can be executed on the website or by our 50-agent network around Japan

The job will involve listening to client needs, understanding them and talking with the various departments providing the services, then quoting and project managing the delivery of those services to each client.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in business, and in meeting people, and yet be able to pay attention to detail and keep deadlines. No specific prior experience required, although a background in either account management, office administration or accounting, or general project management would be helpful.

The position is open for an immediate start. Remuneration will be by way of a modest starting salary plus performance bonuses, however, we envisage that after 12 months, the person will be earning around JPY5m - JPY7m per year.
