Sky Circus Reopens April 2016 Following Renovation

Observation Deck in Ikebukuro offers exciting rides

Opened in 1978 in the Ikebukuro district, and standing at a height of 240 meters, Sunshine 60 was Japan’s tallest building for more than a decade. Sky Circus, the observation deck on the top floor of Sunshine 60, was closed for renovations since May last year. Renovations are almost completed and the observation deck is slated to be reopened on 21 April.

From the observation deck, you could enjoy a complete panorama of Tokyo and even Mount Fuji if the weather is good. Along with the reopening, there will be seven different virtual reality rides available that allow riders to feel as if they are flying in the sky.

I don't think I will ever have the courage to go skydiving. This is probably the next best thing :)
