Fukushuen Garden was constructed in 1992 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of sister city relations between Naha City in Okinawa and Fuzhou City in China, as well as the 70th anniversary of the founding of Naha City. The temple, buildings, and gardens were built in the Fuzhou style and used materials from Fuzhou. Take a side trip to China when you step inside.
