Tejikara Summer Fire Festival

A festival heating up the summer

Venue: Nagara Riverbank When: Early Aug 2024

The Tejikara Fire Festival for summer is held on annually in early august in Nagara-gawa Park along the banks of the Nagara River. Before the main event, there are different performances to entertain the crowd. Kiosks selling various kinds of street food at the venue. The event is like a summer picnic. Many people bring a blanket to spread out in a comfortable place so that they can get a good view of the fires, fireworks and men dancing among them.
