Tokyo Night Photography
1st Apr 2015 - 31st Dec 2016
Tokyo by Night:
At night, Tokyo’ streets stay bright. They have inspired more than one artist, including Ridley Scott for his 1982 cult film “Blade Runner”. Join us on a colorful journey after dark where giant neon billboards match trails of light left by the bustling traffic whizzing around.
On this “Tokyo By Night” photo tour we visit the city’s famous night scenes: Shibuya and Shinjuku. We hit the heart of the metropolis where lights never turn off. We visit iconic locations and lesser known, yet not to be missed, corners of the city. We’ll give you insiders spot recommendations and composition tips. You’ll also learn how to use your tripod and long exposure to your advantage in low light situations.
What to expect:
For “Tokyo by Night” we highly recommend a wide angle zoom lens such as 17-55mm. Fish-eye lenses are fun to play with too. We also highly recommend to bring a camera withmanual overrides.
For “Tokyo By night”, you MUST bring a tripod or rent one from us (+ ¥1,000 each).
