Okazaki Castle Projection Mapping

Merging tradition and modernity in Aichi Prefecture

Venue: Okazaki Castle, Aichi When: Jan 8th - Jan 10th 2022

Projection mapping events have exploded in popularity over recent years, particularly as a way of illuminating traditional structures without damaging them. A three-day event taking place in Aichi brings the beauty of projection mapping to Okazaki Castle, which was the birthplace of Tokugawa Ieyasu and is one of the Top 100 Japanese Castles.

The projection mapping will include digital art content related to Okazaki City's culture and traditions, including events like the Mikawa fireworks.
