As much as people look forward to the blossoms themselves, Japan's seasonal treats in cafés and convenience stores are often just as exciting. This year, Starbucks is celebrating sakura season with three limited-time drinks that blend cherry blossom flavors with sweet white peach, and they're available nationwide from February 18th, 2026.
The annual sakura promotion captures the sense of renewal and anticipation that comes with spring in Japan. This year's lineup includes the Sakura Blooming White Peach Frappuccino®, Sakura Blooming Latte, and Sakura Blooming White Peach Soda, each offering a different way to enjoy the flavors and pastel hues associated with cherry blossom season.
Leading the trio is the Sakura Blooming White Peach Frappuccino®, a layered drink designed to showcase the sweetness of white peach. It features white peach jelly and milk pudding, topped with a white peach–based blend and lined with cherry blossom sauce inside the cup. Two-toned cherry blossom–flavored shavings decorate the top, which are meant to evoke the look of falling petals. As the drink is mixed, the sakura sauce gradually infuses the peach base with a gentle floral note. Customers can also customize the balance of flavors by adjusting the amount of cherry blossom sauce.
For those who prefer a classic café option, the Sakura Blooming Latte highlights the soft, comforting taste of cherry blossoms paired with milk. Finished with sakura-inspired toppings and chocolate sauce, the drink is designed to reflect the image of blooming flowers while delivering a mellow, warming flavor.
Rounding out the selection is the Sakura Blooming White Peach Soda, a refreshing and lightly fizzy option that combines peach and cherry blossom aromas. White peach jelly adds texture, while a fragrant syrup blends notes of sakura, peach, lavender, cassis, and vanilla, creating a crisp drink suited to early spring days.
The beverages will be sold at Starbucks locations across Japan, though availability may vary and items may sell out. As an added bonus, Starbucks Rewards members who purchase eligible sakura products between February 16th and March 8th will receive a downloadable smartphone wallpaper featuring a seasonal design.
