Oedo Antique Market

A place to hunt antiques in Tokyo

By Irma Syahriar   Nov 19, 2014

Every month, on first and third Sunday, people in Tokyo visit Tokyo International Forum, less than 5 minutes walking distance from JR Yurakucho Station. What's going on? There is the largest antique market in Tokyo, famously called Oedo Antique Market.

This market is always anticipated for its various collections and the affordable prices. In fact, the sellers often give big discounts. Most of the stuff is from Europe, America, and Japan in a variety of conditions. However, if you look carefully, it's possible to find valuable antiques in good condition.

The pics gave me an idea of the various items. You wrote the market is in the Tokyo International Forum, but I saw a pic of what looked like it was outside. Is this event indoors or outdoors? And is it free?

I think it's outdoor, and I believe it is free.
