Can I use the new Golden Rail pass to travel from Kyoto to Tokyo ?

I know the new Golden route is from Tokyo to Kyoto but does it go the other way around ?

Hi. Thank you for your interest in the Golden Route. It follows the route of the old Tōkaidō road from Tokyo to Kyoto, taking in some of Japan's most famous spots including Mount Fuji and Hakone too. While it usually runs that way, some do offer a reverse Golden Tour. Ideally, for a reverse golden tour, you may want to try the Hokuriku Arch Pass.
