Hi Barry,

The Shizuoka Stadium doesn't have a roof that can be closed during bad weather. Because of the Super Typhoon Hagibis, the next two rugby games, scheduled for October 12th, have been officially canceled: New Zealand vs Italy and England vs France. This Typhoon is causing grave damage in Japan, so if you're there, stay safe. For it, I recommend you to be informed. This guide may help to know what to do: Typhoons in Japan, what you should know.

Hi. Unfortunately, the Shizuoka Ecopa Stadium does not have the "hovering system" which allows for a retractable roof.
