Digital art collective teamLab is currently presenting its immersive exhibition "Galaxy & teamLab: Continuous Life and Death at the Now of Eternity" at Galaxy Harajuku in Tokyo. The exhibition opened on January 30th, 2026, and notably, no end date has been announced yet, giving visitors plenty of time to experience the evolving installation.
The showcase centres on interactive works that explore the relationship between people, nature, and time. In "Continuous Life and Death in the Now of Eternity" flowers bloom and wither in an endless cycle, responding to visitors' movements. Touch causes petals to scatter, while standing still encourages nearby flowers to grow more abundantly, with the scenery gradually shifting over time.
Another work, "The Flow is Far Away," transforms human movement into dynamic currents that ripple through the space. As visitors move, their actions generate flowing patterns and vortices that merge with others, constantly reshaping the environment.
Blending technology with sensory experience, the exhibition offers a contemplative look at life's continuous cycles through teamLab's signature digital art.
Admission is free of charge.
