Tradition & Modernity:
Travel in time from Edo to Tokyo and vice-versa! Formerly called Edo, Tokyo has a rich history that its inhabitants have managed to preserve, here and there, despite a century of rapid modernization. Come along on a photographic journey between tradition and modernity unlike anywhere else in the world.
On “Tradition & Modernity” photo tour, get a feel of the contrasts in Tokyo. Through your viewfinder witness how rich and vibrant this city is. From past to future, capture a glimpse of the ever-fleeting world around you. We visit iconic locations and lesser known, yet not to be missed, corners of the city. We’ll give you insiders spot recommendations and composition tips. You’ll also learn how to use your camera’s aperture settings to enhance your photos.
