Fukushuen Garden was constructed in 1992 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of sister city relations between Naha City in Okinawa and Fuzhou City in China, as well as the 70th anniversary of the founding of Naha City. The temple, buildings, and gardens were built in the Fuzhou style and used materials from Fuzhou. Take a side trip to China when you step inside.

Cascading waters. The soothing sounds of gushing water can be enjoyed throughout the entire park.

View of the entrance from the other side of the pond.

Chinese statue at the foot of the waterfalls -- a popular photo spot.

Enjoy the distinct architecture of the rest houses.

The walkway around the park is marked by several gates like this.

This bridge features sculptures of the twelve animal signs.
