The small town of Echizen city in Fukui Prefecture has only one onsen resort, Shibuki Onsen Yurari, and visitors looking for a luxurious onsen experience shoud definitely check out it out. A 10 minute drive from the town center, the place is nestled on a hilltop, providing a serene experience for guests.
Consisting of two main buildings - the main accommodation building with a restaurant, a souvenir shop and various amenities and a separate building for the onsen, both buildings are connected by an incline elevator 60m in length. Definitely a place to keep in mind for the Echizen visitor.
