Taxis have traditionally been used for getting from A to B as a convenient and speedy service, but MK Taxi offers so much more than just an average cab ride. Have you ever considered having your own private chauffeur taking you around popular tourist sites? Or would you like to know the secret, hole-in-the-wall places only locals know about? Taxi drivers are known for being savvy when it comes to local specialties, and MK drivers are no exception. Add to that a fleet of exclusive cars—think Lexus, BMW, Toyota Alphard—and you can feel like a celebrity as you get around in style.
Caters to all your needs
Airport transfers
MK taxi can provide rides to and from major airports across Japan at a reasonable, fixed-rate fare. Taxis are conveniently available at all hours, including early mornings and late when trains and buses aren’t running.
The MK Sky web service allows you to book your trip to and from Haneda or Narita airports online, with fare reductions up to 35%. You can also make or change your reservation at any time day or night, and receive email confirmations for your booking for added peace of mind.
Model tours
Why get crammed into a hot and sweaty tour bus on a package tour with dozens of other people when you can take an air-conditioned, private tour by taxi in a luxury car with MK Taxi? Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly day out, or an in-depth experience of traditional Japanese culture, they have it all. Wide ranges of tour packages by theme, location or activity are available, with cars seating either up to four or eight people. Tours include—but are not limited to—a noh theater, tea ceremony and tie-dying tour in Kyoto (starting at 40,000 yen), or day tour of major Tokyo sights (starting at 30,500 yen). Fares quoted are total prices, with adjustments made according to the number of passengers on the tour. For more details on some of the model tours available, see the official website.
General Sightseeing
If you’re interested in a more flexible itinerary, your chauffeur can help you come up with one when he or she picks you up, and can recommend great shopping areas, the best places to eat and sightseeing spots you shouldn’t miss. Fluent English speakers are available, as well as limited Chinese and French speakers. Fares vary depending on vehicle type and season. Your chauffeur can accompany you inside museums and events if you like, but the price of their ticket of entry is not included in the cab fare.
Booking your MK Taxi
You can book your sightseeing tour or airport transfer, or simply ask for a quotation on the official website. For Tokyo airport transfers, use Sky Web for a discounted fare.
Your Peace of Mind and Comfort is a Priority

Wi-Fi inside your cab: Cars equipped with Wi-Fi are labeled, and a “How to access” sheet is placed inside the backseat. Please inform at time of booking if you require this service.
Multilingual drivers: Many drivers speak either Chinese or English fluently.
Phone Interpretation: If a multilingual driver isn’t available, there is a complimentary phone interpretation service that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Spoken languages include English, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish.
Non-smoking: All MK Taxis are non-smoking vehicles, so there’s no unpleasant odor for the duration of your ride.
