Tateyama is a great place to visit if you're into beautiful scenery, fishing and camping. From central Chiba, Tateyama is about a 3 hour drive but definitely worth a visit. There you can enjoy a spacious camping area managed by a private company, they also have various equipment for hire. This was my first time fishing and it was great. I could enjoy the great outdoors, fresh air and a tranquil view.
