Yakiniku at Daikokuya in Chiba

Mouth-watering beef served up from local ranch

Not sure how to find a delicious yakiniku (grilled meat) restaurant? Just look for the giant cow in the sky… But the unique sign is just one great feature of Yakiniku Daikokuya.

It’s a high-quality yakiniku restaurant near Asahi, Chiba, specializing in, you guessed it — beef. For meat lovers, it’s simply outrageously tender meat, mostly because it’s marbled with decadent layers of fat.

The meat comes from Kougo Ranch and massive cuts of beef are displayed in case as you walk in — so you know it’s fresh. Expect to spend at least ¥2,000—¥4,000.

Unfortunately, it’s difficult to find information in English about it online. It’s open from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. every day except Tuesday. For more information, call 0479-47-1029.

The Japanese name is “大黒やコウゴ牧場直営店.”
