The Kitakyushu Environment Museum is exactly what one would imagine: a look at overcoming pollution locally as well as global environmental problems and solutions. Entrance to some parts is free (others, 100 yen). Inside, the museum provides activities and videos to promote further awareness of the current environmental issues and some ways to promote cleaner, environmentally-friendly living. It’s a great and fun place for both adults and kids, not far from Hotel Crown Palais Kitakyushu, Space World, and the Natural History Museum.
