It was a different sunset though. Rather than watching the sun itself, I strolled around the temple town area along the Higashiyama Walking Course, admiring the wonderful light which the sun had started to throw onto the traditional wooden buildings, making them look even more beautiful than they were already. If this wasn't enough, I almost had the whole temple area to myself. Believe me, the atmosphere was unbelievable—and unforgettable.
