Come out Kamakura's East exit and walk straight ahead past the buses out to the main road. That's Wakamiya-oji Street. Turn right, and it's a 10 minute walk to the beach. Turn left, and it's a ten minute stroll along a beautiful path to Hachimangu Shrine. The raised dirt walkway is lined with cherry trees and lanterns and makes for a very pleasant outing year-round. Take your time, look around, and enjoy being in Japan!

Your last chance to see this amazing lane of cherry trees and lanterns in Kamakura! Beautiful in both the daytime and at night.
