A pure wind is blowing on my face. Komyo-ji Temple is just a few steps from the sea, and the sea breeze here always seems to purify the temple’s precincts and visitors with its natural power. During the Edo period, Komyo-ji was the top of 18 Jodo sect seminaries in the Kanto region. Huge numbers of priests learned and practiced here, offering up their prayers to Amida Buddha over a long period of time.
