“JAL Fantastic Journey Express,” a specially decorated airplane inspired by Fantasy Springs, the eighth theme port at Tokyo DisneySea opened in June 2024, started service on October 21 for a limited period of time on its domestic Japan route.
To commemorate the launch of this specially painted aircraft, a ceremony was held on October 21, and Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse joined the celebration.
This is the sixth time that Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. (JAL) and Tokyo Disney Resort have teamed up to offer specially painted planes.
The plane depicts the Disney movies Frozen, Peter Pan, and Tangled, which are the themes of Fantasy Springs.
Passengers will receive a sticker as proof of boarding and can take it home as a memento of the flight.
There are three different sticker designs, and they are given randomly, so it will be a surprise to see which one you receive!
On board, passengers can enjoy the world of Fantasy Springs with music, such as “You Can Fly” from Peter Pan and “Journey to Fantasy Springs.”
The headrest covers in the cabin and the cups for the drinks served are also specially designed for this airplane.
If you have visited Fantasy Springs, you will want to go back to visit again, and if you have not yet visited, this will be a special flight that will make you excited about Fantasy Springs.
When visiting Japan, why not choose to use air transportation for travel within the country?
You can travel long distances comfortably and quickly, and if you are lucky, you may even come across this special plane.
