CRAFT SAKE WEEK (hereinafter, CSW) is the world’s largest sake culture event!
The event started in 2016 with the goal of sharing Japanese culture and is now an annual occurrence. Numerous cities across Japan have hosted the event, including Hakata (Fukuoka), Sendai (Miyagi), and Tokyo.
During the event, you can sample sake from 120 breweries across Japan, including some limited edition varieties, as well as exclusive restaurants’ signature dishes. The event also has live music and features different artists every day.

To enjoy the event’s sake and food, you will need to purchase a CRAFT SAKE STARTER SET, which includes an official CSW sake glass and 12 CSW coins that you use to purchase sake and food. Eleven coins is approximately three to four glasses of sake, and 25 coins is roughly three to four dishes. The sake glass is reusable for the entirety of the event. You can purchase starter sets at the event or in advance, which the event recommends due to high demand. For additional coins, you must purchase them directly at the venue.

Please note that the event operating hours differ from weekdays to weekends. On weekdays, the hours are from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. with last orders for food at 9:30 PM, and last orders from the sake sommeliers at 9:45PM. On weekdays and holidays, the hours are from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with last orders for food and sake at 8:30 PM and 8:45PM respectively.
