Nagisa Park

Nice public park in the Edogawa area

Nagisa Park is located in Tokyo in the eastern part of Edogawa district, a 15-minute walk from the Kasai station of the Tozai line. The area of the park is about 63028 square meters. In the park, there are sports facilities for baseball, two football fields and two playgrounds. The price for the use of sites can be specified on the official website and they vary depending on the time of day. Throughout the facilities, there are toilets and fountains with water, as well as vending machines with drinks. A paid train for children runs around the park. In the western part of the park, there is a pony pen, a children's playground and parking for cars. From the hill in the centre of the park, you can see the eastern part of the Edogawa district and the river Kyudo.

There are always many families with children and students. You can always join and play baseball or football together. On the hill in the centre of the park, there are benches with tables where you can enjoy the evening sunset or the night sky. In the summer there are many flowers that fill the park with pleasant smells, and in autumn you can enjoy falling red and yellow leaves in the park or watching from the hill withering, but nevertheless beautiful trees in the eastern part of the Edogawa district.

Getting there

The no. 24 bus from Kasai Station (bound for Nagisa New Town) takes you close by the park in about 12 minutes (210 yen). Alight at Nagisa New Town.
