Grandly opened in April 2017, Pulp's 417 Edifice and Deli & Cafe has become the new fashion spot for people in pursuit of the latest fashion and healthy lifestyle trends. Its unique combination of a fashion boutique and deli cafe will attract many young people for its unique atmosphere and vibe.
Pulp 417 Edifice
Shibuya is known as the center for youth fashion and culture, whose streets represent the birthplace to many of Japan’s fashion trends – Pulp 417 Edifice, based in Cat Street in Shibuya, is a good example of this. Inspired by various cultures and dedicated to promoting street culture, Pulp 417 Edifice has surpassed previous fashion styles and came up with the concept of “New Generator of Street Culture.” As a feature of this concept, its clothes tend to be gender-neutral.
You can find all the latest fashion elements here, from clothes, shoes, to fragrances and accessories. The music blends well with the decor and style of the shop and well matches the street culture concept. With many of the most popular brands—including Hood By Air, Adidas and Converse Tokyo—Pulp 417 Edifice has become a new icon of Tokyo Street Style in a new era.
Pulp Deli & Cafe
After shopping in Pulp 417 Edifice, you may want to take a rest and have a light meal for good pleasure. Pulp Deli & Cafe is located to the left side on the first floor, a place you can express yourself and enjoy a healthy meal. Order according to your style and mode, with this “My Style Deli” fitting into the light culture of Shibuya. With plenty of colorful, fresh vegetables and superfoods, you can enjoy delicious delicacies in a slow paced setting. Recommended deli plates include P∙U∙L∙P (¥1,100), which contains snap pea sesame, broccoli ricotta cheese, and grilled cajun chicken. The vegetables and meat are well balanced, which make the salad especially tasty, but still keep the ingredients’ original flavors.
If you don’t want a whole meal, a homemade waffle corn ice cream is highly recommended for a lunch break. Flavors include noto salt caramel, house roasted coffee, uni matcha dark, and hakata amaou strawberry. As for drinks, Pulp Deli & Cafe has lemonade of five flavors, such as classic, raspberry mint, pineapple ginger, blood orange, and kale. Since it's located in the basement of the new Shibuya Cast Building, it is always pleasant to grab a drink or an ice cream and head to a lovely park nearby.
