If you're in the commuter-belt town of Tsujido, possibly to hit the shops at Terrace Mall, it's worth walking a few minutes from the station to look at Hojuji temple. It's a charming, peaceful neighbourhood temple, with a restful atmosphere, some beautifully detailed carvings of animals and demons under the eaves of the main hall, and some interesting statues in the grounds, one of them a fierce-looking airborne demon.
