The menu is quite comprehensive and as long as you enjoy crab you will have a great time sampling several selections and browsing the menu. Some of the standard choices include crab salad, crab tempura, steamed crab, crab pasta, crab pizza and crab croquettes. Getting a bit more exotic, you can try crab jambalaya, crab shooters (served in a glass), and crab sake. Outside of crab, there are several other seafood offerings including sashimi, sea urchin, puffer fish and even soft-shelled turtle.
Located in the entertainment district of Roppongi between Hard Rock Cafe and Outback Steakhouse, Carat is 2 minutes walk from Roppongi station. The interior is decorated with bonsai trees, glass and red/gold lighting. There is bar seating and table seating on both the first and second floor and the second floor has several nice tables for viewing the passersby on the street below. Prices are moderate to high ranging from 4,000 per person with drinks.
