Asia's first Rugby World Cup will see Japan kick off against Russia at Tokyo Ajinomoto Stadium, on 20th September 2019, with the final showdown set to take place in Yokohama, Kanagawa prefecture.
Set to be one of the biggest international events of the year for Japan and paving the way for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, all eyes will be on Japan as it host the ninth edition of the Rugby World Cup – its first major global sporting event since co-hosting the 2002 World Cup.
