Jorakuen was designed and built by a master gardener who worked in Kyoto for many years.  Although built in the early 1980's, the garden has a very traditional feel.  Visitors can enjoy many different views throughout the year due to changing seasons.  It is most beautiful in fall and during the June iris festival.
