Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill is a popular tourist destination located in Hokkaido's capital of Sapporo, and it offers some breathtaking panoramic views of the city. The venue is hosting a Golden Week event this spring, with a variety of fun, family-friendly activities on the agenda.
Visitors can experience sheep shearing displays (held at 11:00 and 13:30 on each day of the event), take part in kite-flying, or enroll in craft workshops (a fee of ¥500 applies). There will also be music and juggling performances to keep the whole crew entertained.
There is usually an admission fee to the observation hill (¥600 for adults, ¥300 for elementary and junior high school students), but the fee for elementary-aged children will be waived during the festival period.
