Max Value, located on the outskirts of Kutchan, is the largest grocery store in the Niseko region, offering a large array of fresh produce, prepackaged meals, drinks, meats, seafood, daily household goods, a bakery, a 100 yen corner, a dry cleaning service, and a barber. If you are spending an extended period of time in the Niseko region, especially during the winter, it's best to visit a larger grocery store like Max Value to take advantage of the cheaper prices and larger range than smaller competitors offer. Max Value is open 10:00 ~ 23:00 Monday through Friday, and 09:00 ~ 23:00 on weekends. It is located on Hwy 5 in Kutchan next to Homac and is accessible by bus from Hirafu Village.
