The 15-inch Gauge Railway Museum in the British Village in Niji-no-Sato, a 'foreign park' on the Izu Peninsula, is something one shouldn’t miss. Inside the small garage-like museum, you get to see models of various trains operated in the UK in different eras, including steam locomotives, diesel locomotives and coaches. There are also buttons to press so you can see and hear the engines working. In the middle of the room is a miniature diorama called Rainbow Town, and you can make a train move around the small town by pressing the button at the side.
