Aspecial exhibition taking place at the Shizuoka City Museum of Art looks into a range of botanical artworks which were inspired by London's Kew Gardens. The gardens have been a historical favorite of the British Royal Family, and the exhibition will showcase around 130 pieces including floral drawings and paintings, pottery inspired by flora, and more.
Adult admission to the event is priced at 1300 yen.
The Shizuoka City Museum of Art is located 3 minutes on foot from the north exit of JR Shizuoka Station using the underpass, or 5 minutes on foot from the Shin-Shizuoka Station on the Shizuoka Railway.
For those who opt to drive to the museum, it's located around 15 minutes from the Shizuoka IC on the Tomei Expressway. There is no dedicated parking lot on site, however there are numerous lots in the surrounding area. The museum makes some recommendations of where to park on their official website.
