Even after visiting Tosho-gu Shrine in Nikko more than 15 times, I still enjoy its different faces, depending mainly on the season and time of day I go. 400 years ago, in a profound forest in the mountains of Nikko, huge numbers of artists and workers devoted themselves to the building of these brilliant structures. The structures have been maintained by the constant efforts of teams of specialists, and they continue to show us their dignified beauty today. When you visit Tosho-gu, you will find your own way of considering beauty from them (read more about Nikko on my blog).
