Craft beer has witnessed a significant surge in popularity in recent years, with the diverse range of styles and flavors offering a refreshing alternative to traditional mass-produced beers. The Oedo Beer Festival is a great way to sample some craft beers for yourself, and there will be a variety of domestic and foreign brews available to choose from.
Some of the breweries to be represented at the event include Tokorozawa Beer, T.Y. Harbor Brewery, and Edo Tokyo Beer to name just a handful, and the event takes place at Machida Shibahiro, a spacious venue which has a sprawling lawn space. Bring a picnic mat (and ideally some sunshade!) and enjoy the summer while you compare and contrast different brews.
Please note that the event operates in two sessions – from August 2nd until August 6th, and again from August 9th until August 13th. In addition, the hours fluctuate from weekdays to weekends:
- Weekdays: 16:00 to 21:00
- Saturdays and holidays: 12:00 to 21:00
- Sundays: 12:00 to 20:00
