Pierre-Elie De Pibrac Exhibition 2021

A limited-time event at The Club Gallery

Venue
The Club Gallery, Ginza Tsutaya
When
Oct 16th - Nov 13th 2021

For a limited time, the Club Gallery (within Ginza Tsutaya) will host an exhibition of works from visual artist Pierre-Elie de Pibrac. Born in 1983, de Pibrac has exhibited his photographic works both in France and abroad, including at prestigious venues like the Grand Palais in Paris.

This exhibition is titled Catharsis, and it focuses on de Pibrac's journeys following ballet dancers from the Opéra de Paris. The photos for this project were taken using an old lens from the sixties which was adapted to fit his camera, and the end result manages to capture the beauty of dance in an abstract yet highly personal way.

Admission to the exhibition is free of charge.

Getting there

The Club Gallery is located within Ginza Tsutaya, which can be accessed within five minutes on foot from Ginza Station (served by the Tokyo Metro Ginza, Hanzomon, and Marunouchi lines), or around the same distance from Higashi-Ginza Station (served by the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and the Toei Asakusa Line).
