Plant-based lifestyles have been increasing in popularity over recent years, and a plant-based expo will take place over two days in August at Tokyo's Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa. The event will look at vegan food products, cosmetics, and clothing, and there will be plenty of ready-to-eat vegan-friendly items on offer for those who work up an appetite.
For those who want to learn more about plant-based living and sustainability, there will also be educational seminars held at the expo.
Admission to the event is priced at 500 yen.
The Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa is located around three minutes on foot from Takanawadai Station (served by the Toei Asakusa Line), or around five minutes on foot from Shinagawa Station's Takanawa Exit (served by various lines including the Tokaido Shinkansen and the JR Yamanote Line).
For those who opt to drive, the hotel is around 8 minutes from the Gotanda IC or around 10 minutes from the Meguro IC. On-site parking is available - it's charged at a rate of 500 yen per 30 minute increment.
