Riusuke Fukahori: Your World, My World 2021-2022

Explore unique resin art pieces at the Ueno Royal Museum

Venue: Ueno Royal Museum When: Dec 2nd - Jan 31st 2022

Riusuke Fukahori is a Nagoya-born contemporary artist who focuses on one specific subject matter in his work: goldfish. Fukahori is well-known for his use of resin and paint to make ultra-realistic 3D creations, and a special exhibition taking place at the Ueno Royal Museum later this year will explore these unique pieces. Approximately 300 works in total will be on display at the event.

As yet, the ticket prices for the event have not been determined — they should be updated on the official event website closer to the commencement date. Also, do note that if you're planning to attend that the museum will be closed on December 31st and January 1st for the New Year's holiday break.

Getting there

The Ueno Royal Museum is located approximately three minutes on foot from the JR Ueno Station Park exit.

Alternatively, if you're using the Tokyo Metro or the Keisei Electric Railway to get to Ueno, the museum is around five minutes away on foot.
