From September 17th (Friday) until January 10th (Monday), a special exhibition celebrating 60 years of Sanrio will be held at Tokyo City View in Roppongi. At the exhibition, more than 800 character products, original drawings and materials will be displayed -- it's the largest scale event of its kind in Sanrio history. The exhibition is designed to help visitors learn about the company's development and the formation of Japan's kawaii culture that prevails to this day.
During the event dates, a Sanrio-themed menu will also be available at The Sun and the Moon cafe, which is located on the same floor as the exhibition venue.
Getting there
The Tokyo City View Sky Gallery is located 3 minutes on foot from the Roppongi Station's Exit 1C (Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line), or 9 minutes on foot from Azabu Juban Station's Exit 7 (Toei Oedo Line).
Parking is available at Roppongi Hills and is charged at 300 yen per 30 minute increment. When purchasing tickets at Tokyo City View, show your parking ticket and they can partially validate it to reduce the cost.
