Shinjuku Gyoen Tokyo on a Rainy Day

It’s one of my most favorite places to visit in Tokyo. On a sunny day during hanami season, Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden may be the best time to visit, but the local citizens typically enjoy the outdoors in any type of weather and any season.

On a rainy day, Shinjuku Gyoen is very beautiful, too. Contrasts and colors are brighter, and you will see just few people who enjoy a quiet rainy day in a garden, like me!
