A special exhibition taking place at the Okura Museum of Art looks at the world of paper decoration and its history in Japan. Various paper-making techniques will be explored, including the patterened paper of the Kokin Wakashū which has been designated as a National Treasure.
The exhibition will also have several special lectures held by the museum's curator (April 20th, May 11th, and June 1st from 2 pm), and a multi-course luncheon event at The Okura Tokyo's banquet hall (May 7th, 10,000 yen per head). The luncheon will also include a talk from the museum's curator. Adult admission to the event is priced at 1000 yen.
