Looking around the tower itself is free (as is the download of the Cluster app), but if you want to head up to the virtual observation deck, there's a cost of 800 yen - it's actually cheaper than the real-life Tokyo Tower, so that's a win!
For those who want a memento from their futuristic experience, there are virtual shops on the ground floor of the Tokyo Tower. Head inside and you'll be directed to a real website where you can purchase official merchandise like t-shirts and tote bags.
