A special exhibition taking place at the Fukui City Art Museum looks at works from Kumamoto-born Tatsuya Tanaka, a photographer who focuses on miniatures. His creations are humorous and thought-provoking, and he often uses everyday items in unique ways - for instance, broccoli and parsley are used to simulate trees. The miniature scenes that Tanaka photographs have gained him quite the following - in fact, his Instagram account (@tanaka_tatsuya) has almost 3 million followers.
The special exhibition will showcase around 120 of Tanaka's works, including pieces from the new "Stay Safe" series. Best of all, the works are all able to be freely photographed by the exhibition attendees.
Adult admission to the event is priced at 1100 yen.
