Shouen Nikuichi

Kobe beef nabe cuisine in Ginza

Nestled between Shimbashi and Ginza, Shouen Nikuichi invites diners to experience its high quality yet competitively priced Kobe beef at its new location in the heart of Tokyo.

Experience Kobe beef like never before. Able to source meat direct from its wholesaler arm, Shouen Nikuchi brings Kobe beef direct to the table at mouthwatering prices in this second restaurant from the JTC group (joining their Edo Shouen yakiniku outlet near Tokyo Skytree).

Priding itself on providing some of the lowest cost Kobegyu available to eat anywhere (at ¥5 per 1g), diners can enjoy their experience accompanied by stunning night views of surrounding Ginza.

Based on the 5th floor of the Ginza Hakuhinkan Building, Shouen Nikuichi is aimed at a wide range of diners with capacity for over 100 diners across multiple spaces. With private function rooms and areas available for end of year or New Year parties, corporate events and more, 'Nikuichi' is also perfectly suitable for families and couples, with the integrated table IH cooker making for a social eating experience.

The Menu

With both sukiyaki and shabu shabu courses to choose, four kinds of 100g cuts are available: Kobe beef brisket (¥500), shoulder roast (¥1,100), rib roast (¥1,400) and Sirloin (¥1,600). Twelve kinds of vegetables can be ordered (¥50-300), including leek, enoki, Shiitake, tofu and more. Rice and udon noodles are available as sides, as well as some unique side dishes like Kobe Yukke (essentially Kobe beef steak tartare). Lunch sets are available from ¥900, dinner sets from ¥4,500, with a wide variety of drinks to accompany your meal, including a good selection of wines.

And finally...

Up until the end of December 2014, Shouen Nikuichi are discounting their Kobegyu Sukiyakidon lunch set for the first 50 diners each day. For just ¥650 (normal price ¥1,300), why not try Kobe beef during this limited time period?
