Do's and Don'ts

Don’ts

• Add citations for any facts

• Add captions to your photos.

• Include a subtitle

• Include a 2-3 sentence description about your article.

• Make sure the title makes sense by itself

• Identify keywords and keyword phrases related to the topic and use them (a) in the article and (b) in the article headings.

• Check official names for companies or venues mentioned.

• Describe link targets (don’t use ‘click here’)

• Complete your JT profile

• Don’t use Japanese punctuation

• Don’t submit your work without reviewing first

• Don’t use bold, italics, CAPS, semicolons, underlining or exclamation marks

• Don’t add links to non-official sites

• Don’t plagiarise material from other sources
