Berrick Hall should properly be called a mansion: It's very big, has a beautiful garden and a large party room. The furniture and interior decoration are unified in subtle and sophisticated hues. The original owner was Bertram Berrick, who worked for the Yokohama branch of Berrick Bros. Limited, a trading company in London. Bertram lived in this residence for only 8 years (1930-1938) because of the threat of WWII, but we can get a glimpse of the way he lived then. The architect was J.H. Morgan who designed Yamate No. 111, as well. An index of this series is here.
