Japan certainly has its share of natural beauty. If you feel like a drive or motorcycle ride through some beautiful mountain scenery, Doushi Road is a lovely area within easy reach of Tokyo. I went there in mid April and was thrilled by the river views and the texture of the forest. The road is narrow and winding, so you need to drive carefully, but the views are worth it. If cycling on hills is your thing, it's a great place to take your bicycle. I saw several cyclists, and envied them!

What a beautiful waterfall! I love hidden roads like this.
The bigger waterfall looks man-made, but it's still very pretty.
