I'm currently an English teacher living in Yokohama, and I've been in Japan for going on three years. I lived in Iwate before my move and was able to experience a very different side of Japan that most tourists are unable to see. Now I'm exploring my way through the nooks and crannies of the industrial forests of Tokyo and Yokohama. Of course I've had more than enough experience being a tourist myself, and don't plan on stopping at all during my stay here!

My interests in Japan are wide spread, so you'll see a lot of topics coming up in my articles. From traditional Japanese dances and historic landmarks, to contemporary pop culture and video games, I love it all.
