Innovation, creativity, imagination, and storytelling were four key principles of Walt Disney, and since the release of Steamboat Willie back in 1928 Mickey Mouse has encompassed those values. A special event at the Mori Arts Center Gallery looks into Mickey's evolution, and how the cartoon classic has managed to stand the test of time.
The event will comprise of three sections, which include "Origin", "Modern: The True Original", and "Future: & Beyond". The latter section is an original project of the Japanese exhibition, which will feature the work of five Japanese artists.
