You want to get away from the crowds and do lots of shopping without spending a fortune? Then the northern part of Shimokitazawa is the neighborhood for you. Just a stone's throw from Shibuya station, Shimokitazawa is truly different: still trendy, but with an arty touch. The atmosphere is extremely local and very relaxed. With it's narrow maze-like streets it's almost traffic free and you can fully enjoy the high density of vintage, second-hand, antique and fantastic knick-knack shops.

Wow, with the bookstore front you couldn't really tell what's on the inside. I thought it's a recycle shop of general merchandise... This is unique.
